Our practice began in 1950 on East 131st Street in Cleveland by the father of Dr. George N. Glosik and Dr. Robert J. Glosik. Both doctors grew up in Seven Hills and enjoy living in the Cleveland area with their families. Dr. Angelina Cerny joined our team in 2021 bringing with her over 14 years of experience and is now the proud owner of Optometric Associates.

Dr. George N. Glosik

Dr. George graduated from the Illinois College of Optometry in 1982 after earning a degree in Chemistry from Miami University. He performed an optometric externship at the Westside Veterans Center in Chicago and joined our practice in 1982.
His wife, Betsy, has previously worked in the optical industry and is currently involved as a founder and Patient Cancer Advocate in Destination Hope ,a group dedicated to promote the art of positive living for individuals touched by cancer. Dr. George stays busy with travel, dining, family including two delightful granddaughters, Rosie and Anna. |
Dr. Angelina Cerny

Dr. Angelina Cerny graduated from The Ohio State University College of Optometry in 2007 after receiving her undergraduate degree in Biology. She completed an Ocular Disease externship at the White River Junction, Vermont VA Hospital where she diagnosed and managed cataracts, glaucoma, macular degeneration, retinal disease, as well as other various ocular pathologies. She has received several honors and awards, among them is The Patient Care Excellence Award presented by The Ohio State University.
Dr. Cerny’s experience since graduating has included working in various optometric settings including her own practice. She enjoys general optometry and has a special interest in pediatrics, vision development and myopia control. Dr. Cerny earned her fellowship in the College of Optometrists in Vision Development which focuses on the diagnosis and treatment of binocular vision disorders in children and adults. She enjoys being a Realeyes presenter to local schools and an InfantSee provider. Dr. Cerny grew up in the Cleveland area and lives nearby with her two children and husband, Dr. Craig. She enjoys traveling, spending time with her family, and working with her local church organizations. Dr. Cerny is thrilled to be the new owner of Optometric Associates and continue the legacy and standard of care that Drs. Robert and George have provided to their patients the past 70 years. |

Dr. Craig Cerny completed his undergraduate studies at Ohio University in Chemistry. He continued his education at The Ohio State University College of Optometry and graduated with his doctorate in 2007. Dr. Craig received extensive training in ocular disease management and geriatric care, as well as in contact lenses and pediatrics. Dr. Craig enjoys seeing patients of all ages. He takes pride in helping patients achieve their best vision possible.
Dr. Craig is excited to be practicing with his wife, Dr. Angelina. In his spare time he enjoys collecting antiques, cutting rocks and gemstones as well as spending time with family. |

Randy's patience, expertise and kindness have earned him a dedicated following of patients. He is our expert at frame adjustments and repairs. He is detailed oriented with an excellent eye for finding you the most attractive frames!
Kelly is fantastic at helping patients simplify and enjoy the frame buying experience! She has been with us for over 25 years and is cross trained in every aspect of the office from optical to patient relations! Kelly is also our vision plan specialist to help you get the most out of your vision plan!
